Home State: Louisiana Over the years I have fished in four different bass clubs and gained a ton of knowledge from each club.I am presently the president of the Lock Jaw Bass Club. I enjoy fishing club tournaments because they offer good competition while at the same time offering great fellowship. The first year I fished in a club I made alternate for the Louisiana Top Six. The second year I fished I made it in to the top six and got to fish the event in May the following year. I do however fish open events and thoroughly enjoy the competition that these tournaments offer. In the past I have won numerous club tournaments and have placed in the money in several open events. As far as open events go, my personal best finish was at the Calcasieu River Big Bass Bonanza in 1999. In a field of over 650 anglers I placed 3rd over all and took 1st place bass of the hour for the 2:00 hour. What the future holds for me, I don't know. I plan on concentrating harder on tournament fishing. I would like to join an amateur circuit in the future and fish that for a while. If I can cut it there then maybe I'll go to the next step. For now I'm just looking to have some fun and learn as much as I can. Hopefully I can Help bring some exciting " Ultimate Bass " events to your home town. Keep visiting the site for updates on new events. I look forward to seeing your post and fishing reports, and hopefully meeting you at one of our events. ![]() It seems like we hear about or witness cheating anglers more often with each passing year. I don't know if it's the prestige of winning a bass tournament or the money that goes along with it, or both. |

Welcome to the Ultimate Bass Website, my name is Jared LeBlue, you will see me post under the name Rattle. I have been happily married to Susie, Rattles Trap, for 10 years and I have two awesome kids that over the years have caused me to lose my hair. I graduated from Eunice High School in 1989 and attended LSUE for 2 years. I started working as a police officer at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. in 1994 and am currently a Detective there now. My fishing history is not quite as awesome as some of the other team members but I have been at it for a little better than 20 yrs. I owe this addiction to my dad. He started taking me fishing when I was 6 and turned me on to bass fishing when I was 10. I started fishing tournaments with him when I was 13 and have been hooked ever since.
